North Carolina Baseball Academy Golden Spikes Program - The foremost amateur baseball program in the state of NC

The Golden Spikes Award is given annually to the top amateur baseball player in the country. The award is sponsored by the Major League Baseball Players Association which represents Major League Baseball’s commitment to the grass roots development of amateur baseball around the world. The winner of this prestigious award exhibits exceptional athletic ability and exemplary sportsmanship.

The North Carolina Baseball Academy will carry the name of the “Golden Spikes” for its top age level teams. This program will attract and develop the area’s most talented, dedicated, committed, and competitive baseball players. We will refine the knowledge and abilities of these athletes through exposure to our facility, our professional staff, and implementation of proven practice and coaching regiments. The Golden Spikes program will be the most comprehensive and complete program for the advanced player looking to advance skill levels and gain exposure to coaches and scouts at the next levels of the game.

Tryout Dates

The current tryout dates for the Golden Spikes will be Sunday August 14 and Sunday August 28.

15U/2015 : 2pm-4pm
16U/2014 : 4pm-6pm

Players should fill out application and submit to NCBA.
There will be future tryout dates as well.
